The Volunteer Department of HCH is thriving! Once again, volunteers are allowed in Faith & Grace Manors to bless our residents. And we are always recruiting new volunteers for the many positions around HCH that are such a blessing to this community.
If you would like to join our Volunteer Team, we have many opportunities where you can get involved. For example, we are looking for mealtime assistance, musicians, singers, friendly visitors and many others. Find out more.
Visiting at HCH
If you are planning a visit to HCH, here is some important information to keep in mind:
All visitors are strongly recommended not to visit if they are feeling unwell. Please plan your visit for another day.
Parking is limited at HCH. Visitor parking is available beside Providence Tower, behind Trinity Tower and behind King Tower.
We’ve all experienced lots of life transitions, and we know your next move is important! In this video, you will meet just a few of the people who will help you make HCH your community – a place of family and new relationships; a place to call home!
HERE TO CARE.
More than a motto. We Mean It.
We are committed to providing a supportive, secure, caring and Christian environment that encourages independence, preserves each person’s dignity, and promotes a high quality of life for seniors who can live independently or with limited support services. We’re “Here to Care”.
Choose from six apartment communities offering independent residential living units in a variety of styles, sizes and finishes. They include Covenant, Hope, King, Peace, Providence and Trinity Towers.
Celebrating Canada Summer Jobs at Holland Christian Homes! 🎉 As summer begins to wind down, most of our Canada Summer Jobs students have wrapped up their time with us at Holland Christian Homes — and we want to say a big thank you! 💙 The Canada Summer Jobs program creates opportunities for young people across the country to gain valuable work experience, develop new skills, explore their interests, and build a strong foundation for their future. We were fortunate to have a wonderful group of students join our HCH community this summer. Their energy, enthusiasm, and helping hands made a difference to our residents, tenants, staff, and programs throughout the organization. To our summer students: thank you for choosing to spend your summer with us! We hope you leave HCH with new skills, great memories, and experiences that will stay with you wherever your next adventure takes you.🌟 We wish you all the very best in the year ahead — and hope to see some familiar faces again! 💙 #CanadaSummerJobs#hollandchristianhomes#HereToCare#summerstudents#YouthEmployment... What does it mean to be a Champion of Change? 💙 At Faith Manor and Grace Manor, we're proud to be a 𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐎 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐁𝐏𝐒𝐎), committed to delivering evidence-based, person-centred care every day. A key part of that commitment is our 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞—passionate care partners who help implement, promote, and sustain RNAO Best Practice Guidelines and other continuous quality improvement initiatives throughout our homes. Their front-line leadership helps to ensure residents continue to receive the highest quality of care. In this video, you'll hear from members of our Palliative & End-of-Life Care and Pain Prevention & Management Champion teams as they share why being a Champion of Change is important to them—and how this work makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, families, and fellow care partners. 💬 Which message resonated with you the most? We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments! #FaithManor #GraceManor#RNAO#BPSO#ChampionOfChange... See MoreSee Less
